What is Breast Cancer Awareness Month? Why is it so important?
This October, we want to draw your attention to a very important cause, one that is near to our hearts here at Boho Betty. October is the official Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and today we’re hoping to share a little bit more about what that means.
In memory of Nicky, an amazing woman who was always so passionate about spreading awareness, we want to take this time to highlight the importance of the conversation around breast cancer.
About breast cancer awareness month
This annual campaign is arranged by the major breast cancer charities, to help raise awareness to breast cancer. Most importantly, it is also a time to show support, solidarity and togetherness with any and everyone affected.
Everyone can play a key role during this month. Make the effort to wear pink in solidarity with survivors and those affected. Do your part to raise and donate money towards life saving cancer research.

In memory of Nicky…
Nicky was an inspiration to so many women, all around the world, and was equally loved by all she met. Despite the odds with her diagnosis, she grabbed life and made it her goal to live in the present every single day. Here at Boho Betty, we all loved her very much, and are proud to be a part of the loving, supportive community Nicky helped to build.

There are more than 2,000 of you currently wearing items from the exquisite Nick's Collection, paying tribute to the remarkable and inspiring Nicky. She bravely battled incurable stage 4 breast cancer and never failed to brighten our lives with her presence. We are honored to be donating all proceeds from her collection to the 'Dedicated to the life of Nicky Newman' fund.

We designed the beautiful Cherished Rose Quartz Bracelet for Little Lifts, with 50% of all profits from this bracelet going towards this charity, to help them continue to make a difference in the lives of so many women.
