Sprinkle kindness like confetti, and celebrate random acts of kindness with Betty!
Saturday 17th of February 2024, marked Random Acts of Kindness Day 2024. And so, we want to take the opportunity to highlight the extensive charitable efforts by our one and only Betty.
Here at Boho Betty, we have always been about feeling good, promoting kindness and positivity, and being passionate about making a difference, stemming from the efforts of our founder. In line with our philosophy “be giving, be kind”, we have directed our efforts towards supporting two fantastic causes.
Additionally, every year, we have taken part in Random Acts of Kindness Day by gifting jewellery to wonderful women all over the world - as nominated by you. We want to celebrate these women coming together and share more acts of kindness on this day.
In honour of inspirational Nicky
Nick’s Necklace was renamed in honour of the incredible and inspirational Nicky, a woman with incurable stage 4 breast cancer, who lit up every room and brought smiles to all our faces daily.
Through sales of her wonderful collection, we have been able to donate funds to Future Dreams and Sam Beare Hospice. One of Nicky’s final requests was that we support a multitude of charities held close to her heart, that didn’t get as much support as some of the others. We’re honoured to donate all proceedings from her collection to the Black Women Rising Cancer support project. A fabulous charity set up by the fabulous Leanne Pero.
Little Lifts
Continuing with these efforts, we also launched the beautiful Cherished Rose Quartz Bracelet for Little Lifts, with 50% of all profits from this bracelet going towards this charity, to help them continue to make a difference in the lives of so many women. An amazing charity set up by the most inspirational Oa Hackett.
These cherished bracelets and others have gone into 1200 little kindness boxes for women undergoing chemo and breast cancer.
We’re so proud to work with amazing and strong women all over the globe, and couldn’t have done it without the incredible support and work from Betty. We’re very lucky and grateful to have been able to help in some many ways, and want to continue doing so.
We’re going to continue spreading kindness and to help so many women look good and feel good in the process!
